The boldly confident Qur’anic challenge to all of mankind “to produce a single chapter like it” (2:23) in moving eloquence has remained unanswered for 1400 years. Throughout history there have been a number of criticisms and accusations leveled against the Quran in order to cast doubts about its miraculous nature. Accusations such as grammatical errors, poor word choice, inconsistencies and incoherency in structure and context are just some of the many accusations spread by orientalists and Non-Muslims. This course will go through each criticism to highlight the undeniable fact that the eloquence of the Qur’an is unprecedented and unmatched.
